What we believe and value

In John 4 a woman makes a routine trip to a well, but this trip was different from any other. Jesus was there, at the well, waiting to reveal the hidden treasure that was inside of her.

Like many of us, she had made some bad choices in her life that had left her broken and hurt. She was looking for love in all the wrong places. But, on this day, Jesus revealed who He was to the woman and it totally transformed her and the city she lived in.

Jesus sees every person's true value. We are ALL worth the blood of Jesus, "for God so loved the world", John 3:16. If Jesus values His creation that much, we should see people the same way He does.

We believe that inside of every believer there is a move a God, "Christ in us, the hope of glory", Col. 1:27. We are called to "BE" the church reaching people at their wells (grocery stores, shopping malls, work, doctor's office, family gatherings, etc.) to reveal the power of God and the love that He has for them.

The identity of who we are in Christ is HUGE in our faith. So many believers still live their lives by who they used to be instead of who they are in Christ. Romans' tells us that we are righteous, guilt free, we are justified, just as if we had never sinned, and redeemed, brought back to our original value. "This means that anyone who belongs to Christ has become a new person. The old life is gone; a new life has begun!" II Cor. 5:17. Every believer is a new creation, born again into God's very nature. Much of our teachings at The Well revolve around this topic. Jesus said, "Whom the Son sets free is free indeed". So, allow His word to transform your mind. Live from the prospective of who He says you are in Him. Understanding your true identity in Christ will set you free from the past so that your future can be from glory to glory.
